Pizzeria Sassano serves up some seriously delicious Italian food with amazing pizza, flavorful meatballs, and tasty lasagna. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, and they're great about customizing orders-like keeping peppers on the side so everyone's happy. The owner and staff are super friendly, the service is quick, and the warm atmosphere makes every visit enjoyable; plus, their carrot cake and house-made cannoli filling are absolute must-tries.

Their pizza, meatballs, pasta, specials, ect. are all excellent quality and made with fresh ingredients. They are a small, family owned business, the staff are all quite friendly. They don't have a liquor license yet, but there's a package store next door. There isn't much seating available on a busy day because of how small the place is, but it is still absolutely worth a visit for the best Italian food in the greater Hartford area.
