Just had a fantastic pizza delivered by Riverbend tonight - a large one with sausage, peppers, onions, and extra mushrooms. It was loaded with flavor and perfectly balanced sauce to toppings ratio. The crust was light and flavorful, definitely a new favorite for me!

My family, my wife's family have all gone to riverbend for about 25 years. During this time we knew the owner and loved the pizza and menu. We moved to plainville and for 20 years still ordered from them since it was my favorite pizza in the entire area. HOWEVER.... something has changed there, I am not sure when. My last 3-4 orders of pizza and other items over a period of 3-4months have been very poor quality! In the same time prices went up. I miss the old pizza. this "New" CHEAP pizza stinks. When i order a large pizza with no sauce the female who answers knows its my wife picking up.Thats how often we used to order. Sadly this last order(today) was horrible again. My simple hamburg and onions pizza.. had so few pieces of hamburg it was a joke. Onions? I saw a couple tiny pieces at best on the entire pizza! On top of it those few pieces were about half the size of a dime! Seriously? I even took the time to LOOK for those tiny pieces of onions! Some smaller corner pieces didnt even have either hamburg or onions, and it didnt even have cheese! I know the smaller edge pieces dont have as much but NOTHING! I dont know who is making them these days but this was my families last order, after 25 years. this bothers me to the point I had to write
