While driving from the airport to the North Shore, we stopped at the Dole Plantation and enjoyed learning about the history of pineapple cultivation, tasting the refreshing pineapple whip ice cream, and exploring the grounds. The train ride through the plantations was informative, the food was tasty, and the friendly staff enhanced the overall experience despite the busy and touristy atmosphere.
