After exploring the North Shore, I ended up at Aoki's for some shave ice, and it was exactly what I needed on a hot day. The flavors were refreshing, and the atmosphere felt charming and local, making it a perfect stop to enjoy a sweet treat without the long lines.

Matsumoto has the longtime standing and name but we feel Aoki's is better and you can avoid the long line at Matsumoto but still get better shave ice!
