The food at Max's in Jersey City reminded me of my childhood in the Philippines, with the crispy pork sisig and kare-kare standing out as exceptional, complemented by a refreshing calamansi-mango juice, and I can't wait to return to explore more of the extensive menu of authentic Filipino dishes.
