This bar holds a special place in my heart, as I used to frequent it with my late father. Whenever I pass through Houston, I make sure to stop by for the friendly atmosphere, good music, and reasonable prices, earning it a solid five stars in my book. The Wednesday night jam sessions featuring The Kelly Wayne Chambers Trio and guests offer a diverse selection of tunes, complemented by a BYOB policy with ice-cold beer and set-ups available, along with a food truck serving delicious food on the covered patios. While the lack of liquor may be a drawback for some, this laid-back spot with friendly staff and patrons remains a great spot for enjoying live music and affordable drinks.
