I used to dislike Tex-Mex, thinking it was a far cry from authentic Mexican cuisine, but my perspective shifted after visiting a local restaurant. The complimentary asada tacos blew me away with their flavor, and the steak fajitas, served with whole poblanos, were incredibly tender and delicious. The atmosphere was vibrant, the service attentive, and I left with a newfound appreciation for this style of dining.
