I can sum up Tailgaters in one word. Terrible. My friend and I went the other day hoping for some good barbecue. We were the only customers besides two other men who were getting ready to leave. The waitress took our drink and food order promptly. However she did not see fit to even bother to ask if we needed refills. Out of the hour i was there i received no refill of my tea, my friend got one refill after trying multiple times to get their attention. We ordered the sampler, bbq chicken, ribs, pulled pork and two sides. The only good thing on the plate were the fries. All of the food was cold, it felt as if it had been microwaved. The chicken was mediocre at best, cooked chicken with store bought bbq sauce on top. The pulled pork had no sauce with it, no vinegar, nothing. Just a small cup of tasteless pulled pork. The ribs were nearly inedible. Out of the four ribs on my plate, only one had no fat, and was decent. Again no time was taken in preparing the ribs, much like the chicken. If you want good bbq, do not go here. Lawlers, Whitt's, and Gibson is much better. Terrible service, and even more terrible the food. I will not be going here again.

Purchased a pulled butt and large slaw. Even with a "half-off Wednesdays" certificate, I got beat. Pork was fully cooked but not slow cooked. Full of fat. Slow cooking would have rendered a leaner butt. Slaw was typical sweet vinegar-water on fine chopped cabbage. Works as a base once you get it home. Not much otherwise. Now that I know, I would not ever pay full price for these products.

My wife & I were in the restaurant on March 1st to take advantage of the " all you can eat " special. The food was ok, not great, but the service was terrible. The restaurant was virtually empty, 2 other people that arrived when we did. We took our seats, waited about 5-6 minutes for someone to come to our table. Otjher table got service first, which was ok within itself. But no hurry with us. Finally the young lady, who apparently was the only person working at the time beside the cook, came and got our drinks. She acted like she hated her job and was in no hurry at all to help us. The other table was a different story. Finally we were able to ordered the " all you can eat " special. It took forever to get it, about 15 to 20 minutes. When we finally got served the food was not hot. Warm at best. We ate our first round. We waited, waited and waited for drink refills and for another round of the supposedly ' all you can eat " special. I tried to get the girls attention as she hung out behind the bar trying to look busy. I motioned with my hands, anything to get her attention. No luck.
I was about to go to the bar and say soemthing, when the table two over from us got service at the drop of a hat for refills and dinner. It was obvious at this point we were being ignored.
We are easygoing people, but this was sad and upsetting to the level of anger. We live nearby and have eaten here before with better service. But be warned, its a crapshoot on both food quality and speed of service. Especially if you are not black.

The ribs were falling off the bone good. Seasoned very well. My wife like the chicken nachos.

I order some food to go the chicken was under cook and the ribs was fatty.
The food was not good at all.
