We love traveling to Sandpoint and even just to go to Panhandle Pies for breakfast

Worst chicken fried steak ever! I'm not even sure what kind of meat they used, and the grave was horrible. Everything else in the meal was good, salad, baked potato & cornbread. We also got a pie and that was good.

This is a super good place to eat. The environment is intriguing; waitresses sweet as can be. If you are on a gluten-free diet, gluten-free flat bread is offered as well as other gluten free items. Nowhere does it say that it is NOT substituted for cornbread or other bread but you WILL be charged $1 extra if you order it. (Unless this changes after the review is posted.) Also the menu prices posted online are not current prices. The prices are HIGHER at the restaurant!! (Unless this changes after the review is posted.) Enjoy but expect to pay more than posted!!
