Be careful ordering a large takeout order from this place. I ordered and was given a price and when I got there it was$100 more than I was quoted. The manager would not stick to what I was quoted and used the excuse that he has new staff that he's training. I had people waiting for the food otherwise I would have just walked out! He finally said that we could split the difference, but that was $50 more than I expected to pay. Very poor experience!

We eat here about twice a month and love the food! I am ordering take out tonight in fact! My mother in-law is not able to get out so we are making a delivery to her. Great food! Great service!

From the two reviews I have seen, supposedly the food is not worth the price. No, this is not authentic Mexican food, but then I like the Americanized version just fine. Having eaten a Mexican T. V. dinner more than once in my lifetime, I can say that there is a vast difference between that and the food at this restaurant. I love the food!. The rice is wonderful, the beans are much better than what I get out of the cans I have here at home, and I love all the cheese. The chips, salsa, and bean dip are tasty. I have never gotten sick from the food I have eaten there. I have enjoyed every bite. The servings are generous and I always take the remainder home. It's not as good the next day, but it is still better than what I would make at home. I get two meals out of my dinner. It is my favorite Mexican Restaurant in Pocatello. My mouth is watering thinking about it. Don't take my word for it, and don't take the word of the others who have commented. Try it yourself and make your own decision. As for me, I will eat there again and again. I am also impressed by the fact that this Restaurant served free Thanksgiving dinners to the less fortunate last year. WORTH THE MONEY TO TRY IT!

I have to agree with the other review it is awful. After waiting 30 minutes with my kid I was served of plate covered in an inch of melted rubber cheddar, somewhere underneath was my burrito... I ate 2 bites and wanted to throw up and felt sick the rest of the day. There's a good taco truck by Winco I would recommend if you are desperate for good Mexican food in Idaho.

This is un-authentic, americanized CRAP! I went there today with my girlfriend because our favorite place to eat is closed on Sundays (El Herradero). By the way the interior looked I instantly knew that I wasn't going to be impressed. Then we were seated by a white woman (usually not a good sign). they brought us the chips, salsa and beans while we waited to order. I disliked the salsa and the beans tasted as though they were fresh from the can. I gave the benefit of the doubt hoping that the food would pleasantly surprise me... it didn't. What was on the plate tasted like a microwave dinner. the burritos were smothered in too much cheese of extremely low quality. I took two bites and felt sick. I could not eat any more. My girlfriend ate half of her plate (in headstrong fashion) and admitted that she felt like vomiting; and that, "the more I eat, the worse it gets". On top of that: the price was ridiculous. We each payed about $11 on the meal for sub-par food that would cost less than a quarter of the price in your local supermarket's frozen food aisle. I am ashamed to say that we spent money here. This is a prime example of terrible food designed to rip-off fat white people.
