Steven Meisner and Nicholas Stafford two gentlemen who truly love the outdoors started Wonder Crust Pizza & Tap House August 6th 2021.
Nicholas with 20 years in the industry whom makes all his own sauce and dough is a true master of his trade. One of Steven’s dreams was to own a little slice of paradise that encompasses his love for the outdoors and serve a vibrant community a taste of Wonder.

We went here after hearing their gluten free crust was amazing, we went around 3pm and we were the only customers there(they open at 1). Wife started to order a calzone, and was stopped as the calzone crust might be out. She checked, came back and said, we were in luck and they had some. I started to order a gluten free crust and was stopped and told they were out. Again it is 3pm and not busy, so obviously they didn't have any to begin with. I also noticed another review from 3 days ago, and they were told they were out also. Either they didn't make any, or it is bought frozen and they didn't order it. We also got a beer and the pour was close to half foam, half beer. Waited for an employee to get out of the bathroom to use it and there was water all over the floor (at least I hope it was water). Basically a disappointing experience. Had to order a salad because they had no GF crust, so can't comment on the pizza. Salad was okay, ordered a large and it came on a small plastic plate that was hard to eat from as the plate kept tipping up and spilling all over any time I pushed my fork on the edge. As a comparison, Embers is always packed with a line and they manage great service, and always have their GF crust, so I know it is possible. Even McKenzie river (which has mediocre service) always has their GF crust available. I think there is great potential here, hopefully they can make some positive changes.

My first time I was a little turned off by their prices but willing to pay it if the product was right. Sure thing I had a Gunslinger and it was a party in my mouth! The second time I ordered the same pie. I live out of town so I spent 30 minutes smelling that yummy goodness. When I finally got home and tore that box open, to my dismay it was burnt. Not just a little bit but inedible burnt. There is no way on earth that the person that cooked that pie should of put it in the box and sent it home with me. Just shows that they don’t care about you just your credit card.

We have been on a local area pizza review tour all summer long with @adensandlin and @donna4477, and we would like to say this is now number 1!!!!! Great food and hospitality. Unique environment with awesome decor adds to the overall experience. It was #notsucking👌🏼😎

Came in today after a day of hiking and swimming. Ordered to go a create your own pizza with roasted chicken and sausage for my kids and pigs and pineapple.
After waiting 30+ min they brought them out. A hot sauce was put on the pizza with the roasted chicken and sausage that my kids can’t have. My wife took a couple of bites to see if we could get away with it, but too hot for my kids.
Had to bring it back in and have them remake it. Having to wait another 25+ min for a pizza.
I get they moved the remake to the front of the line, but this is ridiculous.
Then the remake they made was not made correctly, it was made with white sauce for some reason.
I asked if I could just have the original pizza back if they hadn’t thrown it away yet.
The cook says, no we didn’t throw it away. He hands it to me, as I am walking to my truck I opened the box only to see it had been eaten by them! Are you kidding me!
No apology, no offer of sorry about that, no discount given, no refund. Until I asked for it. I got a refund for the pizzas. ($30 by the way, which is way too expensive for the quality of food)
Get home only to realize that the 2 salads we ordered were not the same size and one was made wrong!
So no refund on the salad. ($15 for crappy salads)
Very bad customer service.
My family has eaten there before, but this was my first experience.
I hope I hear from a manager on this, because this crazy bad service.
I would NEVER recommend this place!

My husband and I have enjoyed 3 different pizza's from this place and we were not disappointed with any of them. And they have a cauliflower crust if you need gluten free! :-)

I have ordered pizza from this place 4 times. The first order had a burnt crust. The second order was perfectly made. The third order was perfectly made, but completely the wrong pizza. We were hungry so we ate it without complaining. The fourth order was tonight.
I don't think I will order anymore pizza's from this restaurant.
First of all, I ordered a pepperoni pizza with sausage and extra cheese. I asked that they please bring plates and napkins. I was busy at work and quickly signed the receipt assuming the order was correct. When I opened the pizza box after the guy left - the pizza had pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and black olives, with no extra cheese and again was the completely wrong pizza. There was no plates or napkins inside the box of pizza like I had requested they bring and the crust was AGAIN burnt. Even though the pizza was $12 for pepperoni they considered it a build your own pizza I ended up paying over $22 for this pizza.
Beware, there are many positive reviews on the Facebook page, North Idaho Foodies. While many reviews are positive and 100%, I have experienced a perfect order 1 out of 4 times. I also think when the crust isn't burnt and what you ordered it is really good. I am going to have a hard time reordering pizza from this company when they have screwed up my order by sending me the wrong pizza or burning my crust.
The owner of this pizzeria is also the admin of the North Idaho Life Foodies facebook page and I feel if I leave an honest review on the facebook page, he will erase it and ban me from the facebook page.
