If I could give them no stars I would. The people here are AWFUL! They were nice until I signed that contract then it went downhill from there and now your stuck. I had the worst time getting a hold of the wedding coordinators there while trying to plan the wedding. It seemed as though they were never there and I tried at many different times of day and if I left a message it was days before it was returned. Yes, the venue is gorgeous, about the only thing they have going for them so dont get suckered into the venue. First off yes, ironically enough it was raining on my wedding day. So I had conceded to using the tent if it didnt stop raining before the ceremony. They knew we (the bridal party and I) were arriving 2 hours early and the bridal room was locked. We had to hunt someone down to open it so my hair wouldnt be ruined in the rain. I had never met the new wedding coordinator (we went through 3 in the time we booked the place till the date of my wedding) and she was okay, at first. As the Lord saw fit it stopped raining an hour before the ceremony and we all checked the weather radar and there was no more rain in sight. Gloria (the new coordinator) came to inform me they would continue setting it up in the tent so their chairs wouldnt get ruined. Um, its not raining anymore. I asked her to please move the chairs since it isnt raining and she wouldnt. I asked politely twice and then of course I was not nice about it anymore. She continued to explain that she couldnt risk ruining the chairs (metal chairs with vinyl cushions) and if they were ruined she would have to charge me $14 a chair! They arent concerned about making you happy, just concerned about the chairs that wouldnt have been ruined. All she would quote me is the contract stating they would not do it cause of the rain. Well, the contract also states they would do everything possible to make sure you are happy so they did not uphold their end either. So I had people drive 1 hour to get married in a tent while it was nice outside and clear. They didnt even squegee the water out of the tent very well and I got my train wet walking down the aisle with misc puddles everywhere. Did I mention to enter from the tent you have to make your grand entrance from the bathroom? They arent going to lift a finger without being paid for it either. You want your cake cut, thats $50. You want candles lit? $30 You want a staff at your wedding? Pay their wage for the first 2 hours AND gratuity then you can have them. You want buffet and tables released? $50 You want it served? Another $5 per plate and you can. So of course we did not do the reception there cause that is just ridiculous. I could actually go on and on with all of the irritation this place caused me but I think you get the point. Dont be suckered into the the venue ladies, you will be miserable on your day for it
