Driving through Streator on Sunday, I was drawn to Mr. J's, where I enjoyed an amazing gyro with tender, flavorful meat and a perfect balance of sauce, tomato, and onions, complemented by a soft yet crispy pita, along with delicious crinkle fries and jalapeño poppers, while also noting the excellent nachos and Polish sausage that reminded me of the ballpark, all served in a fun atmosphere despite some inconsistencies in service, and I can't get enough of their mouthwatering milkshakes, particularly the Pina Colada flavor.

in the past 6 weeks I have ordered from them and picked it up....the first time was great, the 2nd time my husband ordered the beef street taco's like off of the taco truck they have. I got all the way home and his 4 taco's were not in the bag and I ordered the gyro plate deluxe plate for $8.59....and the taco's are $1.99 each, so I drove back up there and they said they made the mistake, and so I re-ordered the 2 of them again, and they charged me for them since I did not pay for them included in the first time I picked up our order and I am the one that drove back up there from the South Side of Streator by Vactor. 3rd time was just as we ordered but tonight we got the same thing as always and I go and pick it up and now I get it home and it had some Italian seasoning shaken all over the deluxe plate that cost $8.59 and no house dressing. So now I have paid $40.00 for 2 dinners out of the 4 that were messed up and I'm Italian and cannot stand that stuff and on a gyro and the lettuce (cause that is NOT Italian, last time I checked). Here I am at home trying to take all of that off of with a Napkin and getting pissed off and not going out in the weather to take it back but I WILL NOT GO BACK AGAIN...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EXCEPT FOR TOMORROW WHEN I LET THE OWNER KNOW HOW MY 4 VISITS TO HIS/HER PLACE OF BUSINESS AND MY EXPERINCE WITH MY VISITS.....
