I walked in to this place saw the sign to seat myself. I sit down and wait 10 mins for someone to actually acknowledge me. Finally when somebody does I get told that I have to move to a different table otherwise some guy would be pissed off at me after it clearly says seat your self. The when I do sit down n finally get to order it took even longer and the food was very bland. I left n felt sick to my stomach only an hour after I left. Never again

Regarding the previous post referring to salmonella poisoning – just to be clear, this incident was confirmed to be salmonella poisoning from laboratory samples provided on 9/10/2011. The Health Dept was involved and the samples provided tested positive. Everyone who ate the chicken catered in by Beltline Café on 9/8/2011 had salmonella. Those who ate the beef did not get sick.
Yes, mistakes can be made. When they are, the owner and their insurance company should not try to dismiss the implications of severe illness and hospitalization, to avoid taking responsibility, which is exactly what they did. That was intentional.
The purpose of these posts is to prevent others from succumbing to the same problem.

25 years in business does not confirm ‘they’re doing something right’. If you want to continue to take your chances eating there, it’s your choice. I’m sure the workers involved won’t be eating any food from there ever again.

Dont know if its the same case but myself and 6 coworkers missed an extensive amount of time at work one guy was hospitalized from receiving salmonella from beltline. Suits were filed and settlements were reached but id never take salmonella for any amount of money again!

Been good every time I've eten there, service can be a little slow, and you have to ASK for real butter. Great breakfasts, very reasonably priced!

How do you know they got sick from there. How do you know that your brother and his co-workers didn't eat some other meal together, after-all if they are a group of co-workers their likely to eat as a group more than just this one day. I don't find fault in this establishment because even if it was their fault they didn't do it intentionally, last time I checked nobody's perfect and accidents do happen. They have been in business for 25 years so obviously they're doing something right. You should go around saying bad things about this place when your not even sure if that's what got them sick.

My brother and his fellow co-workers recently ate at this restaurant and they all got a case of food poisoning. I have heard mixed ratings on this place prior to his food poisoning but I hope that noone else had to go through the sickness my brother and his co-workers had to go through.
