In 1998, this was the place to eat. Hot, fresh Chinese fare for a very low price. Great deal.

Since the business turned over a couple of times, the food quality has dropped appreciably and the price has gone up just a tad (really, not a large price increase, but the over-all value is less).

We try it once a year just to keep abreast but the trend is not a good one. If you really love Chinese food, don't go here. If you just want some sort of Chinese dinner and are looking for a really convenient and cheap meal, then Dwight Chinese is your place. Mediocre food for a mediocre price served in a mediocre way.

Skip the egg rolls. Really.

If great Chinese food is your goal, head up to China Buffet in Morris. Best Chinese buffet in 50 miles. Honest.

And, really consistently great sushi, too.

Tonight, we learned that there is a fourth turnover of ownership for the restaurant. And the food proves it.

The flavor was much better than in past years and all of the food was nice and hot, even after the 10 minute ride home.

The crab Rangoon and the egg roll were over cooked a little, but the flavor was there.

I recommend Dwight Chinese to locals and those passing through.

We like the seseme chicken, the chicken with garlic sauce and the Hawaii 5-O.
