We had a 6:30 reservation for a high table & didn't get seated until 6:50 in a low booth. 3 out of the 4 drinks we ordered were all out. My valentine special of lobster Mac & cheese was supposed to come with soup or salad.... never got asked about either one or received it. My husband order the LOMO SALTADO & it was unbelievably coated in soy sauce that noone at our table could even swallow it. We usually have a great experience HOWEVER this time was 100% sub par
Flight Deck..... My rating was based on our overall experience of the night. We HAD a reservation & still had to wait 20 minutes. Our server should know if soup or salad comes with a meal, we should NOT have to ask about it when the check comes. In fact 2 of our meals were supposed to come with soup or salad & neither was even asked about it. As for the super salty food it was removed from the bill & again thank you. As for STIFFING our waitress that's 100% BS. IN FACT we had 2 separate checks & both tipped $20+.

As the former Sous Chef, not only is the restaurant unorganized when it comes to coordinating events and buffets along with regular operation, but the service is terrible. There's many times I had to direct waitresses to their tables cause customers would have their glass raised or their hand for their bill in order to leave. Crab legs forget it cause their oven baked. Potatoes are hard and under cooked. Lack of enthusiasm and coordination of booking your reservation with little care if you double book over other events thus effecting customer service. They treat their employees like garbage and they have high employee turnover which should also tell you something. If you are a native to Rochelle, most of the locals have complaints regarding service when they have been there. Waiting for food 45 min or longer. There'e even a lack of respect to the local community especially local contractors not getting paid the monies for work that they completed for their business. Cross contamination with seafood to other food products, so be careful if allergic to shell fish. I personally not only did I have to file a $350.00 Unpaid wage claim, and illegal employee uniform deduction from the Flight Deck Bar and Grill in Rochelle over a 2 months ago. Now I am in the process of calling an attorney to represent me as Flight Deck is questioning my eligibility in Unemployment Insurance that I am already receiving. . Can't wait to get my unpaid wages either. Especially when you have copies of check stubs, time sheets, illegal deductions, and email messages promising that is was already taken care of that was submitted as proof. I think interest comes out as 20% for the total as well as 1% a day until paid. So keep that money building up! Ill be sure to post when I get any success as the towns opinion on Flight deck is far from par. Hope they finally have someone with a food sanitation license in that building as I was the only one that pulled mine out when I left and Health Code requires someone to have one and be on the premises at all times during operation. Maybe if you are lucky you can see the staff flirt with other waitresses, or maybe even with you if you happen to be just a few girls by yourself on a night out. Maybe you could even see one of the owners (Mike) (last name anonymous) flirt and have relations with the bar manager/assistant general manager (Amanda) (last name anonymous) even though his wife is not around and living in another state. This is not a joke people...Go ahead and check it out for yourself and don't just take my word on it and see what you can see happens or point out. But don't say I didn't warn you! It is clear that the Flight Deck Bar and Grill has a total lack of respect for the local community except for the wheels being greased with the local city hall. The local community has nothing but complaints from these people. Ask a local what his opinion is of Flight Deck and they won't hesitate to tell you their experiences.
