Good luck finding better food and service. The great thing about most Family owned restaurants is they actually care about their customers as we are vital to their livelihood. It helps if they are actually good at what they do too. Try them once and u will be back no doubt. It is rare but their 5 star reviews are justified. Diamond in the rough. Thanks Family Kitchen team for providing something that has been lacking and failing the last 10 years. Friendly service and good food in a Family atmosphere.

It’s been a long time since I have eaten homemade food…I have enjoyed eating at the Family Kitchen. I love their cod fish on Friday’s, and oh my their pies are to die from…They have a packed house every time I go there…Thank you for knowing what the public really likes to eat. I’m so glad that it is in Waterloo…

First timer, and....SO good!! Food was served quickly, despite being packed. Hot food hot, cold food cold. BIG cup of coffee. Great service!! Definitely will be back.
