It's a restful place. Lots to look at; the metal walls, vintage items or collectibles on walls or furniture. It always reminds me of sitting in my dad's family kitchen on the farm.
The food is good; I especially love the "Honey Stung" chicken, and catfish with tartar sauce, or grouper.
They serve wines, many from Illinois, and beer, as well as many soda / pop varieties, and good lemonade.
Waitresses are on their toes, and keep checking without being intrusive (unless it's the busy time). A variety of tables and chairs makes it hard to decide where to sit.
