I want to thank the young man -Jordn-who closed up at the Moline Stashu's restaurant tonight. His "cheerful" disposition, violation of health codes, and sense of entitlement ensures that I will make it known that I no longer support this business. We entered at 7:20, ordered 2 gluten free pizzas to the tune of almost $40 and tip, which arrived table side just before 8. He started vacuuming as we started eating our first slices. At about 8:20 he asked if we wanted boxes for our pizza, and we answered yes. The boxes were sitting on the table while we finished eating. He then stated, not asked, "I'm going to box those up for you" and proceeded to handle the 2 pizza halves with his hands putting them into the boxes. In the process, he dropped 2 slices face down on the table and handled them into the box. "We have been closed over half an hour." Since when does 25 minutes translate into over half an hour. "I'm not staying here all night, I have someplace to be". One of my party stated that he would be calling someone the next day-Reply "You mean my family?" When informed that he wasn't following health codes by handling our food without gloves, "We do it all the time" IF THEY DON'T WANT THE BUSINESS, DON'T TAKE THE ORDER. Needless to say the pizza became dog food. I used to own a gluten free bakery and this was the only place that I would buy pizza in the Quad Cities. NO MORE. I can easily make my own, but brought friends out for pizza. Next time it will be Biaggi's as they also make a decent pie.
