In Avon IN, this is very poor customer service, and no apology, plus no admittance of taking responsibility. Just arrogance!
Ordered 2 pizzas for 2 different people. One with hot peppers, and one with no onions or peppers of any kind. Arrived 8:00 p.m. May 25, 2018. Person who ordered was very clear. One hot pizza and one mild one.
BOTH pizzas arrived with hot peppers. Jalapeno on one and banana peppers on the other. Inedible for the person who cannot eat any type of pepper. Unacceptable, especially that late, when we decided not to cook, but to order in.
Poor listening and poor customer service on the part of the staff of Hungry Howie's. No refund available, only a credit, from a company and employees that under performed! Seriously?
While calling to get credit, told employee that bad reviews are coming. Reply was quite dismissive. Even arrogant. Not even remotely trying to apologize.
Maybe Hungry Howie's is a decent company; however, in Avon IN, this is very poor customer service, and no apology, no admittance of taking responsibility. These staff members really do not car about customers. Do not give these people your business!

I have been eating Howies pizza for 30 years, they are everywhere in Florida, I'm glad they opened this one in Avon....I've had nothing but good service and good food from this location.

Last week we made an order of 4 large pizzas. They advertise their crust and so we ordered a specialty crust. When we received our order the crust was not what we had ordered on 3 pizzas. We called them immediately and the manager said she wanted to make it right so she would replace the 3 that were wrong. I was pleased, even though it was inconvenient for us, at least they were willing to correct it. So imagine my shock when I went in for the replacement order and the manager said she had changed her mind " Since it was only the crust on the 3 pizzas that was wrong, I'm only willing to replace one of your pizzas." I asked her why she had told me she would replace all 3 pizzas when I had called. "Well, after thinking about it I didn't think it was fair for us to have to replace all 3 since the crust isn't really a big deal." NO BIG DEAL?!? Perfect advertisement for their specialty crust! "The crust is NO BIG DEAL!" Hilarious, and right when she said that I was done with Hungry Howies. I couldn't believe she could say that with a straight face surrounded by posters and other adverts shoving their crust down your throat! I hadn't been upset when I received the wrong order just disappointed but now I was livid. I had used my gas to drive there to be told that my crust preference was not important to my pizza order In which I had paid for. I was told that the crust was no big deal and was made to feel as though I was trying to rip them off!!! What!?! I felt as though I was in the twilight zone. I wouldn't go back there if I won free Hungry Howies pizza for life! So,just yesterday I was asked by a friend if I had ever tried Hungry Howies, he was rolling in laughter when I told him this story. Needless to say he chose to not eat there, but begged me to post this.
