Janet's Diner in Dillsboro, Indiana is a great find with a diverse menu offering Italian items like hoagies and pizza along with classic burgers. I enjoyed the Jumbo Wings with Extra Hot sauce, which had a decent size and a flavorful kick, while my wife loved her burger and fries. The service was excellent, and the cozy atmosphere made for a pleasant dining experience.

After reading the post of how you guys treated those boys poorly I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE! You are very unprofessional for a small town business. And yet you continue laughing at posts made about you guys like it's some kinda joke. As a small town diner I'm so surprised you even commented knowing it would hurt your reputation. Learn how to treat your customers first before running your mouth on Facebook!

My family has dined here pretty much my entire life. Every time I come to visit (I live 4.5 hours north near Fort Wayne) we would have breakfast or lunch or dinner with my entire family. This weekend I'm visiting my brother and other family, being nostalgic (my dad and grandparents are no longer living), my brother and I decided to take our children there to eat tonight.

It was utterly the worst service I've ever received. We arrived at 615 pm. We put our order in at 630. We ordered 1 extra large pizza, a small pizza and an order of their garlic cheese sticks. For a table of 7, this is not a large order. There were 3 tables of 2 people and another group of 12 in the restaurant. We didn't receive our pizzas until 7:47 pm. Our waitress did not check on us for more than 45 minutes while we waited for our food with 3 young children at the table. They forgot our cheese sticks, then told us they were being made. They brought out something that appeared to be a sub. Then they said it was being remade and would be on the house in return for us waiting so long and them getting it wrong. The manager then came out and gave me a 15% discount card to use on the next visit. When I went to pay I explained that I live 4.5 hours North of here and could I just use the discount now.

I was told if I used the discount card now I would be charged for the cheese sticks. So they added the cheese sticks and I saved a whole $3 on my bill. I am extremely disappointed in the service, in the rude response to what had already been a terrible experience. We will absolutely never be back, and every single family member and friend I have here will be told exactly what happened and how management and staff handled the situation. We were told our wait was due to the 12 top table (who already had their food when we came in) and a large number of take out orders. Given my 10 years in the food industry, I believe they forgot our order and then failed to provide quality customer service in response.

My dad was Jimmy Dale, my Aunt is Sheila Goff (Baker), and I know you know who they are. Unbelievable how you treat customers, especially when more than 3 generations of our family has supported your local small town business.

Best place to eat and n the Tri-State!
I live in Florence, KY, & the food & cookies are definitely worth the drive! Yummy!
