Love this place...But don't agree with the owner cutting louie's brother's hours (Jimmy). He's part of louie's. ..love him. Also it's too warm in there!!!! It's awful. ..if I wanted to sweat I would go to a sauna!!! Food is normally good...I do agree that sometimes the cook is in a hurry the hash browns are usually under cooked. Egg whites should alwAys be done also!!!! Service is great love the waitresses!

I understand that the American Diner isn't everyone's thing, but when it comes to that genre, this place nails it. If you are looking for an Arugula salad and half a grilled portabella panini, please go elsewhere. Louie's is a classic with a classic menu and classic service. Those of you who rated this anything less than 3 stars are simply not understanding what Louie's is all about... you all should stick to Applebee's and your lives (and ours) would suck less.

Love the employees very friendly. Big portions. I agree though I think sometimes the cook is in to big of a hurry. Sometimes hashbrowns are to done or still raw tasting. Sometimes to greasy. Eggs should always have the whites done.

Blond lady would not stop talking Loudly

Couldn't hear myself think

The food is terrible! It smelled horrible in their restraunt. The really heavy set blonde woman who looks like a parrot is extremely rude and the owner is just as rude. The plates and silverware were dirty and the food was either over cooked or undercooked. Giving this place 1 star is way to generous!

This is one of the first places I tried after moving to La Porte and the food was good. They give large portions for the price which works for me since I share with my son. They found a place where I could park the stroller and not be in the way and I absolutely love that the smoking and non smoking sections are totally separate. Only thing I wasn't too happy about was the service was a bit slow.

I took my kids there for breakfast. one of them is a very picky eater; she loved it. All the staff was friendly. I love that the non smoking and smoking sections are completely separated restaurants. We all left stuffed for under 20 dollars

Their food is very poorly made. The taste and quality of the food is very poor. I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat at Louie's Cafe. I'm sorry but my dog wouldn't even eat the left overs and trust me there was left overs.
