Food was very good and we would have liked to go back in the future but I would definitely not recommend dining inside the restaurant. Maybe take-out only works best for them and do not ask questions! The waitress did not speak English well and very impatiently rushed us to place our order. She did not want to answer any questions about items on the menu and I have food allergies. After serving us our food along with the bill she left the restaurant about 6:30 p.m. and did not come back. There were two gentlemen left behind the counter but they could not speak English very well and responded quizzically to the words waitress or server. We put our empty dishes on the empty table next to us and tried to ask for 1 scoop of ice cream (listed on the table placard for .99/1 scoop which we tried to show him) for each of our two children which means two bowls, each with one scoop of ice cream, no more, no less but could not get him to understand. We obviously came at a bad time for the waitress and our children asked if the owners could put a sign in front of the restaurant to either warn customers when their waitress didn't want to work or to let customers know when they are really welcome to come in for dine-in that day!

Love this place!! So fresh and genuine hibachi! You must try the lobster rangoon! Delicious! Do not let the small outside fool you, it is truly a big taste!!! And the sweet servers and kind owners just add to our regular visits!

Joey Lyons and I are frequent flyers at Yamato. We normally order the same things off the menu. I sometimes change it up. The food is excellent in price, quality, and portion size! The owners are very friendly and good people. The service is also excellent :-) This is our favorite place in town!
