This is brand new buffet in Plainfield. As you enter, you see two terra-cotta statues and a bubbly fountain in the wall. I would like to have that fountain at my house. I digress.



We were seated as soon as we walked in. They weren't particularly busy, so that led to the food not being refilled as fast as it might be. My food ranged from being to cold to just right depending on the dish. The egg drop soup was hot but average. I liked that you could add the little green onions to it. One thing that surprised me was that I actually enjoyed my sushi. They didn't use too much vinegar in their rice which often happens at buffets that serve sushi. They had an ample dessert selection. Everything from a chocolate fountain to hand-dipped ice cream.



I think I would like to come back here during a more prime time to experience what they're like when they are busier. I have a feeling it is much better. The place was spotlessly clean, so that was a plus.
