This place is a great place to eat if you like delicious well made food.I had the queen size prime rib and I haven't had it that good since 1988,from Bentleys in lake of the Ozarks!!! My wife had the grilled chicken salad,and it was to die for, delicious taste right off the grill!! The owners stopped to talk to us,very friendly. Mariaha or waitress was super. Definitely 5 stars. 3/27/21

Dennys in Carroll is a neighborhood bar and grill. It has been there forever. They have always been known for for great food, nothing fancy mind you, just great steaks, sandwiches and fried chicken. Alas, nothing lasts forever. The new owner decided that Denny's famous fried chicken is too "unhealthy ", and "broasted" chicken is actually "better" for you. I don't know anyone who eats either expecting to get health food, but I will say this, if I want "broasted" chicken, I will go to a gas station. They all seem to serve that now and it's all the same. The service is also lacking now. Not only was my order wrong, the wait staff was completely inattentive. A friend that had recently dined there told me of the owner berating her staff in the middle of the restaurant.
It is no longer a place that I enthusiastically recommend, quite the contrary, stay away.
