Best buffet ever...My spouse and I love Chinese buffets and have been to many. The one in Iowa City is awful, but the Ames Mongolian is out-of-this-world for delicious food, a wide sampling of many foods, fresh fruits, delicate desserts (we especially love their banana cream sheet pie), and a wait staff that surpasses others in so many restaurants. Spotlessly clean, the servers wear face masks in the era of COVID, and keep the tables sanitized after each diner. We seldom go out, but when we do we always drive the 45 miles to Mongolian in Ames. LOVE IT! and the price is extraordinarily reasonable for old people like us--and it is handicap accessible.
