This outdoor venue serves a focused menu of burgers and brats, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I enjoyed the onion cheeseburger, which was flavorful and best eaten right away to avoid sogginess. With fast service and a pleasant atmosphere, it's a great spot to grab a delicious meal, especially if you enjoy burgers topped with cooked onions.

Yummy!! Hubby likes the burgers and I like the all beef hotdogs..A wonderful asset to Elkader!

I live in South Carolina but my parents grew up in Elkader, Iowa and have raved about these burgers for years. I had these burgers years ago when I was young visiting relatives in Elkader with my family and recently came back for a family reunion. Our whole group ordered these before a river boat trip and they were amazing and still as good as I remember. I have dined in some very progressive high end burger restaurants and this little wagon stand beats them all. Best burger I have ever had. Worth the travel.
