As a first-time visitor, I evaluate Mexican eateries based on their fiery salsa and margaritas. The hot sauce here had the perfect kick, but the margaritas were just okay. The lunch prices were reasonable, and my meal portion was satisfying, although my husband felt his steak tacos needed a touch more seasoning. Despite mixed reviews, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and excellent service at this local gem.

Just OK food. Standard Mex cuisine.

I asked for a side order of whole baked beans instead of frijoles. Got frijoles.

Nothing special to recommend. For vegetarian Fairfield, I expected more options.

Not going back.
