We had our family reunion dinner there and it was great. The mangers and staff did a great job . The food was excellent as always.

The food was EXCELLENT!!! Everything I ate was so, so, so good. I will stop there again when I am going through Jackson, Ms and I will recommend this place to all of my family & friends Good, Great, Excellent!!! :-)

Very dirty from the restroom to the Buffett. The food is Okay, but they are very slow about keeping the buffet adequately stocked.

There was a RAT on the dessert table, scurrying around and nibbling on cake. I nearly threw up. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. The busboy saw and locked eyes with me and then walked off. Thank God I saw before I started eating!! Why is this place in business????

The food is ok. The service is not!!!..Co-workers and I dine there sometimes but after today, that will probably be no more. My friend made a salad off the buffet that she didn't eat and management informed us at check out that that's costing us an extra $5 and that a sign is posted on the salad bar. CANT BE SERIOUS!!!!!!....SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE $5 TIP BACK FROM THE SINGING WAITRESS

Pretty good food!! Horrible service from management down to the waitress...and the bathroom was very unclean :-(

Okay I must say Bo Don's do have some great catfish. I must agree with others the bathroom is terrible you have to walk in there with caution. The toilet paper on the floor can be put on a roll. The water on the floor is very unstable and the temperature is unbearable.

I agree with the other reviewer. Holy buckets this was REALLY bad. But I do agree the catfish was pretty darn good. Everything else was floating in butter (or grease) and the desserts were just plain shocking. Come on people. Go to Sam's club and get some brownines or a decent looking cake. Not 9x13 dishes with slop. The bathroom was one scary closet. I had to double wash my hands. Put some effort into what you put out for the public. What happen to caring about a quality product?

Attended Bo Don's along with 50+ family members for the seafood buffett.
Whas was more shocking than the food quality was the horrible, and I do mean horrible service (especially from management). It's really disappointing when an establishment express little concern over your dining experience or the food quality and they were pretty clear that and I quote "You called us - we didn't call you". As if that was a reason to not to deliver excellent food or service. When did the rules change?

Also, how about having servers pick up dirty buffett plates without having to flag one down.
In fairness, the fried catfish was pretty solid, so save your money and just order it off the menu.

Ambience - poor ( putried smell wafting from waste plant).

There must be better places for seafood - find them!
