I've never had a bad experience at Tokyo. The food is always great, whether it's their sushi or hibachi. The food is always prepared fresh, and I've never had anything that was served cold, unless it was supposed to be.
Portions are large, so no worries there either. I'm a big guy, but when I get hibachi, I always take a good portion home. I've often eaten three meals from one order of hibachi at dinner, and at least two meals from the lunch hibachi.
I've also never seen any issues that would deem the place unsanitary. I mean, seriously, if you're worried about food prep and ingredient freshness, just choose to sit at the actual hibachi table and watch them bring it out and cook it. You can also watch them make the sushi.
The hibachi chefs at Tokyo are also some of the more consistently friendly, funny, and overall entertaining that I have seen. I've eaten a lot of hibachi over the years (since it's one of my favorite foods), and I can honestly say that I've only seen maybe two hibachi chefs that have ever been more entertaining.
{{{I certainly don't hold that against them, as one of the two was THE "Master Chef" at the restaurant, and it was a higher class of restaurant at that.}}}
If you come away from Tokyo completely dissatisfied, then I can only deduce that you are one of those individuals who just can NOT be satisfied and can only find fault in everything around you.

My hibachi plate had a hair in the rice, i asked them to remake it and he took my plate. A different man brought my plate back holding the hair he grabbed off my fork, then stuck my fork back in the plate after he just touched it and told me it wasn’t hair and wouldn’t remake it for me.

Service terribly slow food was cold and not as described. Terrible left the food on the table !

Restaurant sanitary concerns. I address concerns and the manager did not care, and did nothing to address concerns. Mop bucket sat next to table during meal filled with dirty water. I didn't feel they cared about our treatment. Will not EVER return.
