I had a fish sandwich on a hoagie roll that was out of this world. Great place and would definately eat there again next time I'm in Montana!!

The restaurant has gone back to its original owner, Cindy. The food and service has gone back to the good food and friendly service. Check out their steak special on Thursday. I'm going tonight. We're glad it's back in Cindy's hands and with her great food. Jo D., Kalispell

We arrived for breakfast at around 1040 am on a Sunday. It was quite busy so we expected a bit of a wait. Several tables emptied and filled during our wait. Around 1145 we began to wonder if it was longer than expected but still waited without comment. At about 1210 pm, after a table that arrived after us had been served and left, we asked if we had been forgotten. The waitress... who had not acknowledged us since she took our order... informed us that our order was up after the 12 person table (which was seated 10 minutes after us) was served. Shortly after that... a short blond woman who came out to help serve informed a table next to us quite loudly that there is a wait and that "people" were starting to get angry unnecessarily... "45 minutes is expected..." At about 1235 we were finally served.. almost 2 hours later!! We were starving by this point so we ate what consisted of a really good omelet, terrible, burned, griddle grease tasting pancakes, cold hard bisquits and gravy, and no more coffee, water etc... needless to say I said something at the cashier's desk although I was surprised to find out that the lady who passive aggressively announced how out of line our request for service was... was the OWNER!!! Wow!!! What has happened to customer service these days... we live in a society of people who feel they are entitled.. the waitress feels she is entitled to a tip of 20% regardless of the poor service and lack of empathy she provided... the owner who obviously doesn't care about "word of mouth" because she's the only "eatery" on the lake, etc. Ridiculous...and disappointing....
