Freddie's serves up juicy, flavorful burgers and incredibly tender cheese curds, though the saltiness can be a bit much at times, especially with all the toppings and sauces. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere has a cool retro vibe, and their frozen custard desserts are a perfect way to finish the meal, even if some items like the fish and chips or fries are over-seasoned or overpriced.

We've only been to Freddie's a couple of times. The A1 steak burger was tasty but on the salty side. The cheese curds for a side dish were delicious and tender. If we visit again on this road trip, I might try getting my burger patties unsalted because the saltiness adds up with the mushrooms, onions, and A1 sauce.
