Longtime customer of the original Taco Kid/Los Amigos at 29th and State Avenue which was sold to another individual/family with the current location being at 2610 State Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas. At approximately 5:30pm on August 26, 2020 my brother and I drove to Los Amigos @ 2610 State Avenue in KCKS and purchased 2 soft tacos with sourcream, 1 large taco with sourcream, 1 apple empanada & 2 large strawberry sodas for a total of $14.56 dollars. I also put $1.00 in the tip jar on the counter. We arrived at home washed our hands and I proceeded to take the food out of the bag and discovered I was short 1 soft taco with sourcream. My brother and I drove back to Los Amigos and informed the man at the counter that I was shorted 1 Soft taco with sourcream. The man preparing the food spoke out from the kitchen and stated that "I am trying to steal a soft taco from them and he was not having it" I informed the man at the counter and the man preparing the food that I was not trying to steal any tacos and I just paid $14.56 for an incomplete order. I informed both men that my brother and I are longtime customers and it's usually the ladies that work here that take and prepare our orders. The man preparing the food said "he didn't give a damn and he was not going to replace the soft taco with sourcream that I purchased but did not receive because I was trying to steal tacos from them" I informed the man at the counter and the man preparing the food that I didn't need to steal any tacos and could afford to purchase whatever I wanted off the menu and then some. The man preparing the food told me to get the hell out of the restaurant cause he was not going to replace the original soft taco with sourcream that I paid for but did not receive. I told him that I had to use my gas to come back to this restaurant because our order was incomplete. Mind you there were 2 other customers in the restaurant waiting to order food and after they witnessed how the man preparing the food and the man taking the orders talked to me informed both men that is not how you treat frequent and long-term customers. They both informed both men that they would not be ordering any food today nor in the future and would inform their family members/ friends and co-workers to not purchase any food from them either. I informed both men that I would be writing this incident up on yelp, trip advisor and any other social platform as well.

great lunch spot. food is out in a hurry and their prices are the best in town.
