This is the best Mexican food Restaurant here ,the staff and servers are all very professional and friendly.

No flavor in the food its not even mexican food. I will not go there again, bad service nasty food sorry pass. If your going to call this a mexican resturaunt then make the food correct. I dont understand how people love this place so much. They obviously dont know what real food tastes like

My husband and I live in raytown and have been to this restaurant several times. the last time we were here the staff was very rude, I wasn't going to come back but my husband really loves Mexican style food so I told we would give them another try but after tonight I will never return every again. Our bill is usually any where for 30-50 dollars. We don't just come to drink and eat chips. I DO NOT recommend this restaurant and will only give it 1 star because of service.even though the food was pretty good service is everything in any business it can make whole experience bad if u want to stay in business u need to give good service to the customer

Love you, El Maguey. The last time my wife and I went to your restaurant, we had concerns. The food looked a little dead--sorry. This time, 8/23/14 @ 6:28P.M. was great. We were so afraid you all lost your touch, but we found you hadn't. The margarita was good and powerful like I like it-- a 32 oz. The waiter was a bit obtuse the last time, but definately made up for it this time. After I have my first few gulps of margarita I feel very festive and would love to feel that Mexican panache, almost to the point of wanting to hear a Mariachi band. Only one critism this time. My wife was saying that the beer mug was not very frosty. She loves the coldest beer in town paradigm.

My wife and I love El Maguey in Raytown--until tonight. They fell off. We got a booth and had to wait for the server quite a while. He had trouble understaning our order--no problem but brought my wife the wrong beverage. The chips they brought out were stale, it took twice as long after giving our order for the food to be brought out. And the food(which usually looked "alive" and appitizing in the past was bland and flat). Customers who came in after us got their food before us and left before we got our order. We love El Maguey and will go back again but if this becomes a trend we may look for another Mexican restaurant.

Best Mexican food.Good price, excellent food, you don't have to wait long for someone to service you,and they give you so much food. Don't try other places believe me you won't be disappointed.

This place gives us more meat than any other place in the entire KC area. Fast friend service Our fav place to enjoy some great Mexican food!

This is our families favorite El Maguey!! Similar menu, but the difference is in the taste. We recommend the Fajita Salad. Everything is good though. The only bad thing is smoking is still allowed here. Not too smokey during the lunch hr. We do not live in this area, but love to eat lunch here with my husband now and then as not far from his work.

I cant believe I am the first to post a review about this location. The food doesn't get any better than this Mexican food that is. I live in downtown kck and here is like little Mexico but I have family close to this location so I eat here a lot. The food is great but for some reason the fajita nacho is better when u order it to go. I have always received excellent service dinning in or carryout. Great Margaritas too. This place will not disappoint you I promise today is 1-18-13 I have been eating here for about 8 months now and I get good consistence food and service wise.
