Though I'm now on the East Coast, the memories of the New York Delicatessen and its incredible pastrami and corned beef remain some of my fondest. This deli not only served delicious sandwiches but also created a warm, welcoming atmosphere filled with kindness that I treasure to this day.

I used to live on the east coast, but my favorite deli in Kansas City also holds a special place in my heart, even though it's been decades since I last visited. The thick-sliced meats and homemade bread make for a delicious meal, especially when paired with their flavorful cheeses. If you have a sweet tooth, don't miss out on their almond kolache or twist donuts - they're the best in town! Although a bit on the pricey side, the quality of the food and the cozy atmosphere make it worth every penny.
