I was very disappointed with almost every aspect of my experience other than the ambiance. Our server, Belamere, was very rude from the second he came to our table. He was condescending, a know-it-all and definitely thought he was better than myself and my husband. It’s been a long time since someone has talked down to me the way he talked down to us. When the food came out the cheesy grits were cold, ok I can deal with that. I ordered a BLT+A&E with no tomato. The A&E stands for avocado and egg. When it came there was no avocado, again no big deal, we can make that change. However when my husband simply ask Balemere if the sandwich was suppose to have avocado he belittled my husband by telling him in the most condescending way possible “No, it’s a BLT with egg”. I straightened that situation out by reminding the server that avocado does come on it and sent my meal back. When it finally came out it had tomatoes on it. At this point I was done waiting since my husband had finished his meal. No effort was made outside of offering for us to take a new sandwich home, which wasn’t a possibility for our situation. No manager was sent to the table. No apologies were made. As we walked out my husband mentioned to the hostess that the server was rude and she just smiled and nodded, not caring at all what we had to say or offering anything other than a smile. I will not be frequenting this establishment nor will I ever tell anyone to go there. Such a disappointment.
