Over the course of several summers visiting York Beach, I've consistently enjoyed stopping by the General Store for their fresh coffee, delicious sandwiches, and friendly service. One memorable time, when I desperately needed conditioner before a day of ocean swimming, the woman behind the counter went above and beyond by lending me her personal shampoo and conditioner, which left a lasting impression. The food is always flavorful, the staff welcoming, and the atmosphere charming-it's become a reliable and comforting part of my beach trips.
