The reason for my Rate Scale to be only 3 was for the following reasons: My family and I came it for the first time since our friend Martha(previous owner) had passed. Sunday 11/01/2009 now our experience as follows: We all 4 went breakfast buffet, upon fixing our plates we all noticed there was no Hash Brown Casserole so as we returned to our table, I asked the Waitress when there would be some brought out. She then goes behind the counter and asked the grill cook. The grill cooks states, very loudly and rudely "I KNOW THERE IS SOME OUT THERE CAUSE I JUST SENT A BOWL SO DON'T TELL ME THERE IS NONE" Upon that I watched the waitress go check, she returns to our table to politely let me know that some was just brought out. So being the kind of person I am, I quickly tell the waitress, loud enough for the grill cook to hear me, "Sorry about that, they must have brought them out as we walked back to our table, I didn't know that asking would get such a rude remark." Now in my experience when I walk into a Restaurant or Store I like to be greeted with a smile or a hello. I have learned that making the public/ customer feel good as they enter brings them happiness. There is nothing better than having a happy customer. Well the only thing I seen happy in this place was our waitress. The grill cook which for those of you that don't know the grill is in the front of the place and in the open, so no matter how her day goes or is, a smile and friendliness would have been appreciated. My family and I have decided not to return, and that's sad cause we live in Cadiz and was wanting to find a place we could go to every Sunday morning as a tradition again. I guess we will find some other place. Sorry to the owner of Cadiz Family Restaurant....
