When Best Things Kentucky named this BBQ joint their top pick, I knew I had to check it out and was blown away by the friendly vibes and generous portions that felt like a warm hug from home. The pork was great once sauced up, the sides were solid (especially the Burgoo and onion rings), and the homemade pie was the perfect sweet finish, all without breaking the bank.

To start off with i can't afford to eat there but i love there bbq chicken and i decided to go and get a bbq chicken plate. First thing was it was supposed to be 11.05 and he charged me 11.60 and then i get home which is all the way across town and my chicken didn't have any bbq sauce on it and thats the main reason i went there. I would have took it back if i hadn't lived so far away. I won't go back since this was a waste of money when all the income i have is disability.

I love the Woodshed. No matter what you order, you won't be disappointed. My only disappointment is that I live in Evansville, IN and I am going blind. My next trip to Hopkinsville will be my last and I was hoping to stop by the Woodshed on my way back to get $100 worth of their pulled pork and their amazing sauce to bring back home with me. How can I find out what their hours will be around the Christmas holidays
