Can’t write anything about the food due to the fact that after being seated and waiting approximately 15 minutes, with the waitress never acknowledging our presence, and don’t think it was because they were busy there were only 2 other diners there, we got up and left . Went to Stellians and were eating delicious pizza within 15 minutes. By the way Stellions had several customers.

I’ve been eating here since I was 8 years old. I came today for my birthday and what a disappointment there is a new owner and everything on there menu has changed. I came for the famous catfish I have always gotten here and what I got was a frozen fried up piece of some kind of fish from who knows where. This was the worst experience I have ever had at shady cliff. There was other people that had ordered food and waited so long they got up and left only paying for there drinks. They had a horrible experience just waiting for there food. I hope the new ownership reads this and changes course on their menu and food going back to what it was. If not it won’t be long until everyone figures out it has changed for the worst and won’t come back like me. I have never posted a bad review in my life but I wanted to forewarn everyone not to expect what we have been used to at shady cliff.

Ever since the new ownership took over everything is too high. The food is good and the waitresses are nice and do a good job but the menu prices have really jumped.The guy running the place is hit or miss. They have made some improvements, i will give them that but the cost has skyrocketed. It is not what it once was, that is for sure.

My family ate at this restaurant yesterday. We drove about 1-1/2 hours to get there and I can tell you it was definitely worth it. The best catfish I have ever eaten. The restaurant is pretty and has a great view over the lake. Definitely will go again.
