Fish-Inn is no longer in operation..what a loss..It was the best fish in Ky. Now what to do, where to go, It was great while it lasted, Thank you Fish-Inn for the many meals I enjoyed there..

Very nice place and a good small town, "mom and pop" atmosphere. Very good food for the price - the fish is good and the sides are very decent as well. They also have other menu choices besides seafood so there is something for everyone if you want to go as a family or group of friends.
This is not a full service restaurant, however, as the other review pointed out...so there are no "waiters" in there that are going to keep coming by your table - the drinks are self service to refill. You will order as you come in at the cash register and pay, then the meal will be prepared and brought to your table.

to recant the other rater, this is not a full service diner. Small operation, this is a Fish eatery. Order ,you get everything you need, drinks are self serve. Usually it is a one person operation.
If you are looking for the best fish in KY. this place is for you. If you want someone hovering over you asking iif you need this or that then you need a different place. If you want or need anything .....just ask.....

Nice sized pieces of fish and the slaw is good...homemade. Service was spotty, the waitress was more interested in her laptop instead of seeing about whether we needed anything else...so they lost a take out order because of this.
They do not advertise very much and the Catholic church parishioners in Mount Washington and Fern Creek tend to flock to the Hungry Pelican instead because Fish Inn won't help sponsor the local, yearly parish directory . Maybe they don't need the business.
