During my recent weekend in Bardstown, I had the pleasure of discovering a charming bar that exuded a peaceful ambiance on a Saturday night. The friendly service provided by the owner, Mr. Hibbs, coupled with an impromptu jam session and quick pizza delivery, made it one of the most enjoyable evenings I've experienced in a while. The cozy and dimly lit dining area at Xavier's, located in the basement of the Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey History, offers a nice setting for a romantic date with a decent menu selection and a variety of bourbons to choose from.
