Reviews for Wanpen Thai & Chinese

Top Reviews of Wanpen Thai & Chinese

I have been dining with Wanpen for over 20 years. It is the standard that I hold all other Thai & Chinese cuisine. Her veggies are always fresh and crisp, and the pad thai and rice noodles are delicious. You can order your dish as spicy or mild as you prefer. Also the dishes with nuts and coconut milk are out of this world. The egg rolls are the best I have ever had. They are large and fat with lots of crispy cabbage and veggies. I have lived in many large (over 1 million population) cities, and Wanpen can hold her own.

She is also one of the kindest people you can meet.

Wanpen, named for the sweet lady that runs it (with her husband) can on occasion give top foodie Thai & Chinese places across the country a run for their money.

Their Vegetable Egg Rolls are the best I've ever had anywhere, as is their Yellow Curry. These items are consistently better than any Asian eatery I've visited anywhere. Other menu items you may or may not find to exceed expectations, but all are very good. The service is usually excellent as well.

My only complaint is that it depends on who is doing the cooking as to whether the food is merely good or fantastic.
