WHILE DINING AT YOUR CLARKSBURG WEST VIRGINIA STORE ON 10/7/11 THESE ARE THE FOLLOWING THINGS WE NOTICED: RESTROOMS UNSANITARY (PAPER TOWELS ON THE FLOOR, WATER STANDING ON SINK, MIRRORS DIRTY), BAR GLASSWARE HANGING IN FRONT OF US WAS SPOTTED, DUSTY, AND ONE EVEN HAD LIPSTICK STAINS, SILVERWARE WAS SPOTTED, MY SILVERWARE WAS ROLLED IN A TORN DINNER NAPKIN, THE CARROTS IN THE SIDE VEGETABLES HAD NOT BEEN PROPERLY COOKED AND QUITE UNDONE, THE BROCCOLI TIPS HAD NOT BEEN REMOVED THUS LEAVING BROWN STEMMY ENDS, BOTH DISHES HAD BEEN LEFT IN THE WINDOW TOO LONG AS INDICATED BY THE LUKEWARMNESS OF THE DISHES AND THE FACT THAT THE SOUR CREAM WAS MELTING AND FALLING ONTO THE PLATE AND THE PASTA HAD BECOME VERY DRY. OVERALL THE FOOD WAS JUST OK NOT SPECTACULAR AND WOULD NOT BRING US BACK TO APPLEBEE'S. THE BARTENDER DID ENQUIRE ABOUT THE DISHES AND WE TOLD HER EVERYTHING WAS OK BECAUSE SHE WAS VERY BUSY DUE TO THE OTHER BARTENDER BEING ON BREAK. WHEN THE OTHER BARTENDER ARRIVED BACK FROM BREAK, SHE HUNG OUT IN FRONT OF THE THREE SINK AREA OF THE BAR (ACTUALLY SITTING ON THE SINK) AND TALKED WITH ANOTHER COWORKER FRP SEVERAL MINUTES. SHE DID NOT INTRODUCE HERSELF TO US OR ANY OF THE OTHER GUESTS NOR DID SHE CHECK TO SEE IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING. IT WAS AS IF SHE FELT THAT WE WERE THE OTHER BARTENDER'S GUESTS ONLY AND THAT WE DID NOT CONCERN HER. WHEN THE FOOD CAME UP FOR A THREE-TOP AT THE BAR AMY THE GOOD BARTENDER HAD TO RUN THE FOOD OUT HERSELF WHILE THE OTHER BARTENDER CONTINUED TO LEAN AGAINST SINK AND CHAT WITH OTHER COWORKERS. THE ONLY OTHER THING THAT WE NOTICED WAS THAT THE FAJITAS WERE NOT SIZZLING AS THEY CAME OUT. WHY PUT FAJITAS ON A SKILLET IF THEY ARE NOT GOING TO SIZZLE? DURING THIS TIME THE RESTAURANT WAS NOT REALLY THAT BUSY, BUT THE FOH MANAGER SEEMED TO SPEND MORE TIME IN THE BACK OF THE HOUSE RATHER THAN OUT FRONT WHERE NEEDED. WHAT MADE THIS DINGING EXPERIENCE GOOD WAS THE SERVICE FROM THE BARTENDER AMY. THOUGH SHE WAS BUSY SHE STILL MAINTAINED A POSITIVE,OUTGOING PERSONALITY. SHE WAS VERY EFFICIENT AND KEPT THE BAR VERY CLEAN (SHE MUST NOT HAVE BEEN THE PERSON WHO WASHED THE GLASSWARE WE MENTIONED EARLIER). SHE WAS THE ONLY BRIGHT SPOT IN A VERY UNSPECTACULAR DINNER OTHERWISE WE WOULD HAVE PROBABLY COMPLAINED TO THE MANAGER ON DUTY. WE ARE NOT ASKING FRO ANY COUPONS OR DINNER PASSES WE JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW ABOUT OUR EXPERIENCE AND HOW SHE WAS AT LEAST ABLE TO MAKE THE EXPERIENCE WORTH WHILE.
