Driving by Coach's Corner for years felt like a missed opportunity until I finally visited for the annual tapping of the Edmund Fitzgerald keg. The atmosphere is welcoming, the burgers are juicy and flavorful, and the staff makes you feel at home, creating a neighborhood vibe that invites return visits.

For years, I passed by Coach's Corner without realizing the gem it truly is. Last night, I finally stepped inside for the 2nd annual tapping of the Edmund Fitzgerald keg, and was amazed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere, delicious pub fare, unbeatable beer selection, and reasonable prices. It's a hidden treasure in downtown Newport that offers a perfect blend of family-owned charm, mouthwatering burgers, and a cozy ambiance that makes you feel right at home.
