It's too bad this diner has no atmosphere. The food is great. The interior is so bland and the hard benches are a sure way to make you do carryout which deprives you of tips. The hard seats and spotlights in your face are really bad. The walls have no color. It is so nice to dine with something to look at on the walls and have pleasant lighting. We would dine there often if it didn't feel like the school cafeteria.

My first experience at the diner wasn't all that great. Service was excellent. But the food was very lacking and very very very over priced. For $12 and some change, I got a small chicken breast, very small bowl of collards and roll. The chicken had no taste at all. The collards were so bitter I couldn't finish them and the roll, well you can't hardly mess up the bread, it was the best part of the meal. I'll not be returning there ever!!! Who has ever heard of a meat and one. What happened to the good old days where you got a meat and two or three? Totally bad experience!
