Been going here since they opened, they never have disappointed me! Their coconut shrimp, crab Rangoon, and sushi are the best I've had anywhere! Thank you for your service during the pandemic!

I love this place. Good food. Good prices. Fresh. Well cooked on hibachi and flavorful. Sushi beats all but Surin.

I love the other japanese restaurants I have been to but makinos is the worst restaurant I have ever been to bar none. The chicken and rice was cold and tasteless. The honey chicken was cold and so tough from being overcooked we couldn't eat it. Everything else was also bland. I wouldn't return if it was free.

My fiance and I used to go here all the time. Until a couple months ago. We were seated way over in a corner. If you walk in it's to the right but not the outer part so we had a good view of behind the cooking and sushi making areas. We were finishing up our meal and were about to leave when I saw one of the guys who rolls the sushi squatting down behind the end of the sushi counter talking on his cell phone and picking his nose. Vigorously I might add. Then stands up and without washing his hands goes back to work. I was in shock. I had just eaten sushi this guy had made!!! NEVER EVER will I ever set foot in here again.

BEST RESTERAUNT EVER!!! The food is amazing, a very large variety of sushi, raw fish, (which you can sear to perfection of your choice at the open grill) and lots of other stuff like crab legs, teriake chicken, fried rice, and MUCH MUCH more!! I HIGHLY recommend going here for any Japanese food lover. I highly recommend this resteraunt if you hate Japanese food too!

Buffet items were barely lukewarm. Gourmet desserts advertised in paper included only slimy gelatin and small coffee flavored cake squares. It was a big birthday disappointment, as we were sucked in by the free birthday dinner. I will not return and will discourage others from dining there. Food was not at a safe temperature.
