First off let me say, I was really excited that a Mexican restaurant in West Lafayette finally delivered. Oh how I was let down. Please take my advice and DO NOT EAT HERE! The food and service were horrible! First off, I called in my order for delivery on Purdue's campus and was told it would be 30 minutes or less. I ordered the Mexican rice meal with chicken as my filling; it was to come with two sides and a soft drink (I chose chips, salsa and a diet coke). I placed my order at 11:15 a.m. by 12:15 it had not arrived. I soon received a call from the delivery driver informing me in very broken English that she could not find my building. I then proceeded to give her directions. Around 12:20 I received a call from an employee in the admissions office stating the driver was there and could not find where I was located. I told him my location and he sent her on her way. My food arrived at 12:33 p.m. 1 hour and 18 minutes later. The driver handed me the Styrofoam container and my receipt, when I asked where my drink was she stated "I don't know, this is what my boss gave me." I showed her my receipt where it clearly said I had ordered and paid for a fountain drink. She then replied "I don't know what to do." I explained to her that she either needed to A. Refund the money for the drink or B. Bring me a diet coke. She looked very confused and stated "I will be right back." She never returned. I called Freddy's and spoke with the manager regarding this. She apologized and stated she would refund my money and send me a coupon. Upon review of my bank account, the money was never refunded and I never received a coupon. I called back to Freddy's to let them know the money had not been refunded, and the manager stated "yea, our machine wouldn't let the refund go through." She had not even managed to call me and tell me this!! She then asked to verify my credit card information to make sure she was entering it correctly. She read off the information that she had and it was correct. She then informed me that she would call the company and make sure it was taken care of. Still, I have not been refunded. As far as the food goes, it was so horrible, I am positive my Chihuahua who loves Mexican food would not even eat it. The portions were very small, the food was ice cold, rice was bland, tortillas were soggy and they only gave me a spoonful of chicken. Aside from that, the meal was supposed to come with sour cream and jalapenos which I never received. This place does not even deserve one star. Please take my advice and do not eat here, you will be disappointed if you do.
