09/24/2009 - John Breaux
Another classic example of a sports bar/grill trying to do too many things and ending up with a whole lot of average menu items at best! For starters our server did not know the menu and did not make any effort to find answers to our questions. We started out with spinach and artichoke dip appetizer, tastier renditions of this dish can be found at le pizzeria and carabbas. My wife ordered the seafood chef salad and the tuna and shrimp were vastly overcooked. I ordered the fried oyster dinner which stated on the menu that they were flash fried,as they should be, but the oysters were soggy and far from flash sried. Although the $31 we spent for our dinner is fairly reasonable for 2 seafood entrees,i feel that we could have gotten better food and more knowledgable service at a traditional restaurant that may not be overeaching their capabilities.
