My husband and I were looking for breakfast food after a show. We saw advertisements for the Highlander bar, offering breakfast until 6 am.
I am vegan, and my go-to vegan food at breakfast places is hashbrowns and veggies. I asked for this, and seeing both were on the menu, I thought I would be accommodated. First the guy told me they had no veggies. I pointed out the tomatoes and onions. Then he told me they couldn't change the traditional breakfast, it had to be kept as is. I told him I couldn't have meat or cheese. He snaps at me, "you don't have to eat it."
Wow. You don't want business?
Never have I been treated this rudely due to my dietary needs.
